Heritage Flight Museum ground crew with three T-6 Texans

Internships

The Heritage Flight Museum is proud to offer opportunities for current university students to fulfill internship requirements through a variety of museum duties.  Interns at the Heritage Flight Museum get an up-close-and-personal look at aviation and aeronautics history. Our collections include historic military aircraft, artifacts from many generations and Apollo Space Program exhibits. There is much to see and learn!

Internship positions are usually 12-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate class schedules Monday-Friday. In the course of their duties, interns may be required to lift up to 50 lbs and must constantly remain aware of their surroundings. This museum is an active flying museum, so aircraft or maintenance machinery will often be moving around and aircraft will be starting up and/or flying. Those from all fields of study are welcome to apply and will be considered based on the evolving needs of the museum.
