Experience the thrill of historic warbirds in flight and check out our new museum expansion with exhibits featuring the story of the Apollo 8 Moon mission. The ’68 Experience walks you through one of the most tumultuous years in American history, touching on milestones of the Cold War, Vietnam, Civil Rights and the Space Race. The Earthrise Gallery lets you follow the path of mankind’s first voyage to the Moon, with artifacts from Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders, a Moon rock on loan from NASA and videos of Apollo 8 mission highlights. We will be flying sorties throughout the day. Special features: Brando’s BBQ truck will be dishing up deliciousness and KAPS Radio will broadcast the event live.
